Our focus at Synergy+Plus is working with small to medium sized businesses... helping you to get organized, to have a professional presentation with custom invoicing, etc., accept multiple forms of payment, understand profit & loss reports to improve your income capabilities, and perhaps to think about different forms of promoting your business, etc. Maybe you are just starting your business, OR you have been in business for a while but don't really know how or where to begin keeping good records. OR... maybe you already have a successful business and use QuickBooks desktop or QuickBooks Online, or some other form of bookkeeping... but you no longer have the time to keep the records up to date yourself, or you might need to replace your current bookkeeper for some reason. Whatever the case... We're here for you!!

We offer all kinds of basic bookkeeping services, which I will explain in a moment. First of all, I want to let you know that WE DO CLEAN-UP!!! If your records are a complete mess... if you have a SHOE BOX FULL OF RECEIPTS, etc. DON'T BE EMBARRASSED... YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! WE CAN HELP YOU!!!
Along with clean-up... we offer a variety of other services such as: Building a customer data base, customizing quoting forms, invoicing (deposit invoices, paid invoices, etc.) We will also send them directly to your customers if you choose. We build products and/or services price lists to help in better tracking of income and expenses. If applicable, we will build an inventory list and keep that up to date for you. We'll set up different methods of receiving payments (such as PayPal, Venmo, ACH checks, direct deposit checks, credit cards, etc.) and we'll link your bank account with QuickBooks so you can receive payments directly into your bank and it will show up in your business QuickBooks site right away. Then we, as the manager of your bookkeeping program, will be able to keep your records up to date at all times. We can also set up a "mileage tracker" to keep track of miles driven for tax allowances. You can receive weekly, monthly, or job related profit or loss reports. And, we'll organize your bookkeeping to make it simple for you at the end of the year for tax season. We can even help with business cards, car vinyls etc, for advertising. If you have special requirements or something that you would like to do differently than other businesses, let's discuss and come up with ideas.
Synergy+Plus takes the security of your business records very seriously. We use QuickBooks Online for all of the work we do for you. That information is protected by Intuit with cloud based storage. We use security measures such as antivirus software, secure internet connections, up-to-date software, strong passwords, running virus scans regularly, etc.

SYNERGY: Before retiring from a very stressful job at the end of 2019, I had been blessed for many years working in Customer Service, Sales, Design, Management and Corporate Officer among other duties. My latest position for 23+ years called for daily interactions with Business Owners, Suppliers, Transportation Companies, Manufacturing Plants, Fire Marshals, Engineers, Architects, General Contractors, Residential and Commercial Property Owners, along with City, County, and State Regulation & Compliance departments nationwide. Then, after officially retiring, during the fiscal year 2022-23, I was voted in as Treasurer, which was a volunteer position for a large Non-Profit Philanthropic organization. That position turned out to be much more than I ever could have imagined as I cleaned up many critical bookkeeping challenges that had not been addressed for many years. Whew!! I have also owned and operated a couple of small businesses earlier in my working career. I discovered ONE THING WAS UNIVERSAL: in all of these companies and capacities... I ALWAYS ended up doing a myriad of ADDITIONAL bookkeeping, sales tax reports, and other secretarial and management duties THAT I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO DO given my existing workload. THEREFORE, I WORKED MANY VERY LONG DAYS & WEEKENDS, YEAR AFTER YEAR.
SO...WHY WOULD I EVEN TELL YOU ALL OF THIS?? Because I know first hand how difficult it can be, for struggling new business owners or highly successful business owners, and everyone in between. It seems all too often, no matter what position we hold, at times we will end up doing too many different jobs and wearing too many different hats... yet our focus MUST continue to remain on all tasks that directly bring in money and new customers. For this reason... I believe that all of the different skills and experiences that I have had over the years, and the possibility that I might be able to share even a few pointers to help others, brings SYNERGY to this business. Obviously, YOUR BOOKKEEPING is the top priority...but my ability to help you in other areas of your business may also be a blessing to you in some small way.
PLUS: I have been a Born-Again Evangelical Christian for almost 40 years. And, thank God that I have matured in many ways as He has blessed me. When I was praying for a name for this bookkeeping business, I felt the leading toward "Synergy Plus". SYNERGY, as I explained above... PLUS... I have the Holy Spirit guiding every step that I take. So, when all of the experiences the Lord has blessed me with... are coupled with the guidance of the Holy Spirit... now THAT is truly "SYNERGY PLUS"!!
Before you and I speak... give some thought and consideration to: 1) WHAT WOULD MAKE YOUR BUSINESS RUN SMOOTHER? 2) WHAT CHANGES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE IN THE "PAPER FLOW" OF YOUR BUSINESS? 3) WHAT CHANGES WOULD FREE UP MORE TIME FOR YOU SO THAT YOU CAN FOCUS ON WHAT'S IMPORTANT? --- Even if these things would not typically be done by your Bookkeeper. That's what I am here for! That's why I have started this business... to be able to continue helping others with the knowledge and experience the Lord has given me.
